“I create sculptures from hand-built clay and found-objects that capture the essence of feelings, emotions and thoughts coming through to me while I am handling the clay or object.  I begin with a vague preconception of what I will be making.  Then, the creation takes on a life of its own and I always become the bystander, the voyeur of the process. Found objects from the environment including wood roots, bicycle parts, wire, raffia, weathered metal, colored glass and feathers complete thedesign. ”.
