PAINTINGS

“Nature is my inspiration where I find my spirit and my sacred space. I take my materials out into the landscape and do plein air pastels and graphite drawings under the open skies. Then, I make photographs of the scene and take these and the drawings into the studio and watch the magic happen. Here they are transformed into creative statements that always mystify me. The colors and textures in the landscape turn into dances of life on the canvas."
